Eddie Howe to sit on Newcastle bench against Arsenal

The English coach will sit on his team's bench for the first time.

Newcastle

boss Eddie Howe will sit on the bench against

Arsenal

on Saturday after his coronavirus test was negative.

Howe missed his first game against

Brentford

due to the Corona virus. After reviewing the symptoms, Howe was allowed to travel under Covid-19 protocols, and now Newcastle have confirmed that he will be sitting on his bench for tomorrow's game.

Their statement reads:

"#NUFC can confirm that Eddie Howe will be in the dugout for tomorrow's game at the Emirates Stadium after returning a negative Covid test this morning."

Speaking at a news conference before tomorrow's meeting, Huo's assistant, Jason Tindall said:

"From my own personal experiences when I had Covid a couple of months ago, I had no symptoms to start with and it was only after about eight or nine days where it hit me really hard and I began to struggle.

"But from how Eddie was, I'd say Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, in comparison to how he's now feeling and the tone of his voice the latter part of this week, there's been a big difference."
