Barca hope to get Fati back ahead of Bayern clash

Barcelona hope that Ansu Fati will be back from hamstring injury before the Champions League decisive clash against Bayern Munich.

Barcelona

prodigy

Ansu Fati

ended the last season on bad terms, as he suffered a torn meniscus on his left knee 10 months ago and had been out of action since last November.

The talented forward celebrated his return to the pitch with a 91

st

minute goal in Barcelona’s La Liga clash against Levante on September 26. However, Fati’s return did not last longer than two months and the 19-year-old was dealt another blow as he suffered a hamstring injury during Barcelona’s 3-3 draw against Celta Vigo on November 6.

Although Fati has been out of action ever since, Barcelona have high hopes to get the Spaniard back in time for their decisive Champions League clash against

Bayern Munich

on December 8.

The Blaugrana are set to face a difficult challenge as they most likely have to beat Bayern to be able to advance to the next round of the European competition.

Barca have been experiencing a difficulty in the final third as the Catalans have only scored 1 goal since Xavi took over at Camp Nou, however, the Blaugrana remain hopeful that Fati’s return would give them the extra boost they need for their last group stage standoff against the Bavarians.
