The Portuguese right-back has shown the green light to reunite with the Special One at the Giallorossi and the club are negotiating with the Red Devils over a loan move.

Diogo Dalot

Jose Mourinho

’s main targets for the next transfer window and as per reports from

Il Corriere dello Sport

, the ex-

loanee is willing to make a move to

in January.

Based on the reports, the right-back has ‘already said yes’ to Roma.

The 22-year-old has had difficulty with his game time at

this season, having featured just 226 minutes.

Reports claim that the two parties are negotiating Dalot’s loan move to the Stadio Olimpico. Dalot may come back to Serie A on a loan deal that includes an option to buy for €15m.

The defender has only featured in three matches this season, including the Giallorossi’s 6-1 loss at the hands of Bodo/Glimt in Conference League.

Roma plan to acquire at least one right-back and a central midfielder in January and they are eyeing Borussia Monchengladbach’s Denis Zakaria as one of their main targets to strengthen the squad.
