Pique's wife Shakira was attacked by wild boars in Barcelona park
Barcelona center-back Gerard Pique's wife Shakira has claimed that two wild boars attacked her while she was walking in a park in Barcelona with her 8-year-old son.
The Colombian singer was mugged by the animals, who relieved her of her bag before fleeing into the adjacent woodland.
The singer shared a video of her torn bag covered in mud, she explained in Spanish:
“Look at how two wild boars which attacked me in the park have left my bag.
“They were taking my bag to the woods with my mobile phone in it. They’ve destroyed everything.”
Shakira is not the only victim of the aggressive hogs which have invaded the city in recent years.
In 2016, Spanish police received over 1000 phone calls about wild hogs attacking dogs, plundering cat-feeders, holding up traffic, and running into cars in the city.
