Liverpool's Alexendar-Arnold set to miss Man City clash, admits Klopp
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted that the Reds' right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold is likely to miss Sunday’s match against Manchester City due to injury.
The right-back suffered a groin problem during a training session on Monday, and did not travel with the rest of the
Liverpoolsquad for Tuesday's Champions League clash with
Porto.
Speaking before the match at the Estadio Do Dragao,
Klopp
admitted that the 22-year-old's injury is worse than he thought and he is unlikely to feature against
Manchester Cityat Anfield this weekend.
"He is out for today for sure, he didn't travel, and it doesn't look great for the City game as well.
"It's a muscle thing. We thought it was just tight from the [Brentford] game but it was more and now we have to deal with that."
