'Richarlison not banned for Burnley match' confirmed Benitez

The Toffees can use their star in Monday's game against Burnley.

Everton

boss Rafael Benitez has claimed that striker Richarlison will not be suspended for the next match due to the club's good relations with the Brazilian federation.

Premier League clubs have decided to ban Brazilian players from traveling to the World Cup qualifiers due to Brazil being on the Uk's red list. This prompted the Brazilian federation to ask FIFA to ban clubs that have prevent their players from traveling for the game. FIFA also agreed to Brazil's request and the ban was communicated to the offending clubs.

However, the Brazilian federation have made an exception for Everton and has not applied to FIFA for Richarlison. Benitez confirmed the news and explained the situation.

He said:

"I think we are in a much better position than anyone because when we allowed him to go to the Olympic Games we were in contact with them (Brazilian FA).

"We told them it was a complicated situation for us but we could understand how important the Olympic Games were for the association.

"We have a very good relationship with them and they said they understand and Richarlison was not an issue.
