Argentine Premier League stars in danger of missing three games

If the Argentine players do not return to the UK after the match against Brazil, they will be in danger of losing their club 3 games.

While the Premier League had asked the players not to travel on international duty,

Aston Villa

and

Tottenham

allowed the separation of their four Argentine players, who now seem to be having problems.

Emiliano Buendia and Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa) and Cristian Romero and Giovanni Le Celso (Tottenham) left for Argentina on condition that they return to England after Sunday night's crucial World Cup qualifier against Brazil. However, Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni was unaware of such an agreement, saying the players would be available for his side's match against Bolivia on Thursday.

He said:

"We gave the list for the three games and there are no doubts about that.

"The players are here to play all three games. We never had a refusal from the clubs. We spoke and reached a conclusion that they had to come."

Under UK's law, players traveling to red-listed countries must be quarantined for 10 days upon return, and under the previous agreement, the Argentine stars would lose only one game in the Premier League.

However, if Scaloni talks take place, these 4 players will be absent in three matches of their team. In fact, the Tottenham stars will miss the Premier League game against Crystal Palace, the Europa Conference League match against Rennes and the game against Chelsea. Aston Villa players will also miss the team's matches against Chelsea and Everton.

Reports indicate that the situation has not changed and the players will return to England immediately after the match against Brazil.
