BBC: Everton’s Moise Kean will join Juventus this summer

Being short of a forward following Ronaldo’s departure, Moise Kean emerged as an ideal target for the Bianconeri.

Juventus academy graduate signed for Everton in 2019 for a £25.1m fee, and after a bitter first season with the Toffees, the 21-year-old was loaned out to PSG last year. Regaining his form, the Italian scored 19 goals in his 45 appearances for the Ligue 1 side and emerged as a priority for Juventus, who is in search of

a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo

.

According to

BBC Sport

, Everton are in the advanced stages of loaning Moise Kean to Juventus. However, it is not yet clear whether the buy option in the deal is obligatory or not.

It’s been reported earlier

that it seems Kean could return to Juventus on loan with an option to buy and if certain conditions are met it will become an obligation.

Despite still having three years left his Everton contract, the Toffees are eager to offload the Italian this summer following FIFA financial fair play regulations.

The Italian played twice this season under the new Everton boss, Rafael Benitez but was sent off in the EFL Cup win over Huddersfield last Tuesday.

Kean, capped nine times by Italy, played 41 competitive games for Paris Saint-Germain last season during which he has been able to score 17 goals and provide one assist.
