Chelsea’s offer for Lukaku is not enough

The Blues still want to re-sign their former striker Romelu Lukaku.

Chelsea

has been negotiating over

Inter Milan’s

high-profile striker, who once was a Chelsea player, and now the Blues are going to have to pay more than €100m to tempt the club to sell the Belgium international, who had a big role in Inter’s successful season that led to their long-awaited Serie A title.

Although they don’t seem to be going easy in their negotiations over the Belgian striker, they have to reduce their wages even though they have already let their title-winning head coach and one of their most valuable players

Hakimi

leave the club.

The 28-year-old striker had a big part in Conte’s title-winning squad scoring 24 goals, and he is happy at the club and wants to stay for the next season after reaching the UEFA’s official team of Euro 2020 with Inter.

He is now back at Inter’s training camp after spending the holiday in the Caribbean and the USA, where he followed his training program.

Lukaku

left Chelsea to join Everton for £28m in July 2014, and he almost returned to the club before moving to Old Trafford with a £75m deal in July 2017, and two years ago, he moved to Italy to play for Inter Milan for £73m.

The Blues are looking to improve their front line, and their other target is Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland, who will also cost the Blues a lot of money.
