Chiellini asks Juventus for a deal until World Cup 2022

The Italy defender is keen on penning an extension with the Bianconeri for another year but he would like to continue until the World Cup in 2022.

will meet with

Juventus

to talk about an extension.

The 36-year-old’s contract ran out in June and he has yet to sign a renewal, but the Italy international has contributed to Euro 2020 victory with the Azzurri this summer.

After grabbing the trophy at Wembley, Chiellini showed his determination to be part of the squad for the World Cup in 20222, which will happen between November and December in Qatar.

The Italy captain was supposed to pen a contract until June 2022, but the reports claim that he is asking for a deal until the next major international tournament or a contract for two more years.
