Oscar Mingueza injured again against Ivory Coast

The Barca star is likely to be sidelined for some time and it is unclear whether he will be able to accompany his national team to the Olympics.

Spain

midfielder Oscar Mingueza suffered an injury during his side's match against Ivory Coast and was forced to leave the pitch.

Ivory Coast took the lead with a goal from Eric Bailly. Dani Olmo was able to equalize and then Max Gradel made the game 2-1 in injury time. However, two minutes later, Mikel Oyarzabal equalized from the penalty spot. It was in extra time and Spain was able to defeat their opponent 5-2.

But the bad news for Barcelona was that Oscar Mingueza was forced to leave the pitch due to injury, and the same thing happened to him in the match against Egypt. The Catalan star returned to training last Tuesday but missed Wednesday's game against Argentina. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.

Japan, New Zealand, Brazil, Egypt, South Korea and Mexico are at war with Spain to reach the semi-finals. Spain has the presence of 6 players of Luis Enrique's team and has a high chance of winning.
