NFL star joined Kansas City's soccer team ownership

The MLB star has entered the world of football management.

NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes has joined the Kansas City Sporting Owners team.

The 25-year-old owns a stake in Kansas City's MLB team and has now entered the world of football. He confirmed this after the finalization of his presence among the members of the club's board of directors.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to join Sporting Kansas City’s ownership team and strengthen my connection to the fans and the city I love.

“Sporting is a community-oriented club and I am excited to continue supporting the growth of soccer in Kansas City.”

The Kansas Club was founded by local investors and has invested nearly $ 200 million in the city's football. Sporting Club bought the Kansas City Wizards in 2006 and changed its name four years later.
