Spain confirmed on Monday that Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos will probably miss the remainder of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics due to injury.

in their first group game and missed the 1-0 victory over

Spain are currently sitting on top of Group C with four points from two games and will qualify for the knockout stages if they avoid defeat against

was optimistic that the 24-year-old would be ready to make his return for the knockout stages, but according to a report from
Diario AS, he is now set to spend a month on the sidelines.

, who was also forced off against Egypt, is now fit and ready to return to training ahead of their last game against Argentina.
The Barcelona defender picked up a muscle problem in Spain's 0-0 draw in their opening group stage fixture with Egypt last week and was replaced inside the opening thirty minutes.
However, the 22-year-old has recovered well and is in line to return to the starting line-up.
