Roma, Inter, and Juventus can’t meet Pjanic’s requesting salary

Barcelona need to let Miralem Pjanic go if they want to retain Lionel Messi as they need to meet their salary cap and the problem they are facing is that no club have been able to meet the salary Bosnian is asking.

It looks like

Barcelona

have been really busy this summer as they want to sign new players, keep

Lionel Messi

, and let go of some of their unwanted players to lower their wage bill. One of those players seems to be

Miralem Pjanic

according to

Diario Sport

.

Pjanic has loan offers from Roma, Inter, and Juventus and Barcelona have put an ultimatum on the table for him. However, the problem seems to be his salary which all three are offering significantly less than what he asks. Therefore it seems Barcelona are prepared to take drastic measures to force his hand.

Barcelona are trying to keep Messi and reportedly they have been able to reach an agreement with him. However, in order for La Liga to give them permission, they need to bend to meet their salary cap, thus Pjanic’s exit becomes a priority for the club.

Although Pjanic might be open to a move to Italy he is still determined to keep his salary as it is.
