Barcelona and Atletico Madrid to swap Griezmann and Saul

are discussing a swap deal between

Saul

and

Antoine Griezmann

and the talks are in progress.

Griezmann is keen on returning to Atletico and being the reference of the attack as he was Lionel Messi’s second-fiddle for two seasons. Barca are considering cashing in on the France international as they aim to reduce their wage cap to be able to offer the six-time Ballon d’Or winner a new contract.

However, the Frenchman did not push for a move. He knows the situation the Blaugrana are dealing with and would rather go back to the Spanish capital rather than to Italy or England.

Saul, on the other hand, is eager to join Barcelona, who asked for more money or another player as Griezmann has a high value.
