Neymar criticized Brazilian Messi fans

Neymar and his teammates will have a difficult task against Argentina in the final and it seems that they do not have enough support.

Brazilian national team

star, Neymar criticized Messi's Brazillian fans who want Argentina to win the Copa America.

With the sudden transfer of Copa America to Brazil and the severe outbreak of the Covid-19 virus in Brazil, football fans in this country have paid less attention to the competition than in previous seasons. Some Brazilian football supporters have stated that they would like

Argentina

to win the competition so that Lionel Messi can reach his first national cup.

Among them are well-known Brazilian journalists. Messi, the competition's top scorer with four goals, wants to get Argentina to their first major trophy since 1993. However, Neymar, who has to face his former team-mate in the final, is deeply upset by the behavior of Messi's Brazilian supporters.

He wrote on his Instagram account:

"I am 'Brazilian with a lot of pride and with a lot of love. My dream was always to be in the Brazilian team and hear the fans singing. I never attacked nor would I ever attack Brazil if they are playing for something, whatever the sport, a model [beauty] contest, the Oscar......... I am Brazil, and who is Brazilian and does it differently?"

He added: "

OK, I'll respect [that], but go to ---,

" using an expletive word to finish the sentence.

Defending Copa America champions Brazil will face Argentina on Sunday. They are aiming for their sixth title since 1997.
