Benzema unveiled his conversations with Ronaldo

Former teammates scored all four goals last night in France and Portugal confrontation.

Real Madrid star Karim Benzema has claimed that he wished Ronaldo success in talking to the Portuguese star.

Benzema and Ronaldo have been teammates at

Real Madrid

for nine years and have had many successes. Benzema sent the most assists to Cristiano Ronaldo during his career, and they coordinated very well in Real's attack. Last night, they faced each other in

France

and

Portugal

match, and after the first half, they had talked and swapped shirts with each other, which was met with a positive reaction from the fans. After the game, Benzema explained the scene.

"It's nice to see him again, we have come a long way together,"

Benzema told reporters.

"We both played eight or nine years at Real Madrid, we scored goals, won trophies.

"We spoke, we wished each other good luck for the future with our clubs and in the tournament and especially to continue to have fun on the field and continue to make the difference."

Ronaldo increased his tally to five goals at Euro 2020 and topped the goalscoring charts with two goals scored last night. He also equaled Ali Daei's record of 109 goals and is now the top scorer in national football history.
