Barcelona joins PSG in the race for former Atletico left-back

Caio Henrique joined Monaco from Atletico in August 2020 for a €10 million fee and has established himself as one of the most consistent full-backs of Ligue 1 in his debut season. The 23-year-old has provided 5 assists in his 28 league appearances for Monaco.

According to the Brazilian outlet,

UOL

, Barcelona are monitoring Brazilian left-back Caio Henrique as a replacement for Junior Firpo, who serves as the backup to Jordi Alba.

At the same time, PSG are looking to bolster their left-back options as Juan Bernat and Laywin Kurzawa have failed to live up to their promises.

Monaco values Henrique between €25-30 million as it will be a huge profit to the €10m fee they have paid Atletico for the left-back.
