Casillas gives humorous message to Messi after personalized beers

Iker Casillas has got one of the beers sent to every shot-stopper that Lionel Messi has netted their goal in celebration of the Argentine’s 644th goal for Barca.

Messi

overtook the superstar Pele, as the starlet have scored the most goals for a single team, and most of the goalkeepers to receive a Budweiser bottle have posted a message to Messi on social media, Casillas as well.

“I thought they were never going to arrive!”

Casillas

posted on Twitter.

“But here’s my personalized Budweiser bottle. Congratulations Messi for your record with goal 644. I remember when you scored goals 264 and 265. A good game, a good draw and even better, you never scored against me again!”

That was the match between Real Madrid and Barcelona on the 7th of October 2012, a game that finished in a 2-2 tie.

Messi

couldn't score against Casillas again after that game.

Gerard Pique, who often makes jokes, wrote on Instagram:

“Iker, I guess you can’t fit all the bottles at home. Send me [a picture of all of them].”

Casillas replied kindly:

“You have too much free time! Between YouTubers, the football team, and the statements you make. You have to recover [from injury], right?”

Besides five years in Porto, Casillas played for Madrid his entire 22-year senior career, 16 of which he performed as Spain’s goalkeeper.

He received five La Liga titles, three Champions Leagues, and one Primeira Liga, besides other titles, and was a key player for the Spanish team that won two European Championships and the 2010 World Cup.
