Valencia defender Gabriel Paulista agrees contract extension
Former Arsenal centre back has renewed his contract at Mestalla until 2024.
There were rumors about
Gabriel Paulista’s doubt for extending his contract with
Valencia. However, as per reports from

, the 30-year-old has now renewed his contract with the LaLiga side until 2024. The Brazilian defender has been a key player in Javi Garcia’s team this season as he has started 19 games for the Bats in their 2020-21 campaign. In an interview after extending his contract, Paulista has expressed his desire to stay at the club until he retires.
"I would like to retire one day at this club that gives me everything every day, I have great respect for all of you, for the players, for the people on the street … Yes, I would like to retire here one day,
"My family wants to live here too. We are going to work and see the future that awaits us. I want to continue making history with this shirt and do my best,” the player said in statements provided by the club."
