Beckham’s Inter Miami hits the $2m fine record by MLS
Announced on March 1 last year, MLS ruled that each team is allowed two high-priced designated players, whose wages exceed the league's salary cap. A third player will be allowed if the club pays a $150,000 fee to the league split among the other sides.
