Pioli: "We need to work more to find a better balance"
AC Milan started the new Serie A season with a win.
's opening Serie A game saw them overcome Bologna 2-0. Milan's goals in the match were scored by Olivier Giroud and Christian Pulisic.
Stefano Pioli, the coach of Milan, said after the match they are on the right track.
“We need to work more to find a better balance, but those who have arrived certainly know how to play football and that is a good place to start from. We only had four friendlies and this first game of the season, so there’s work to be done, but we are on the right track.”
he told DAZN.
Milan finished fourth in Serie A last season and secured a place in the Champions League. They also reached the semi-finals of the Champions League but were defeated by Inter and couldn't make it to the final.
Milan will play against Torino in their next match.
