Soriano: "Neymar has thrown in the towel"

Neymar has joined Al Hilal with a two-year contract.

Al Hilal

have signed a two-year contract with Neymar. They paid Paris Saint-Germain €90 million for this transfer.

Former Barcelona striker Jonathan Soriano, criticizing Neymar's decision, told Mundo Deportivo that Neymar has the ability to lead a team to victory in the Champions League.

"Neymar has enough quality to lead a team looking to win the Champions League. I believe that he has thrown in the towel. There is no Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi, so he could have led world football along with Mbappe and Haaland. Instead, he has decided to earn more money."

Jonathan Soriano also has experience playing for Al Hilal.

Barcelona were also looking to sign Neymar, but ultimately He joined Al Hilal.
