"Only big clubs are capable of reaching two consecutive European finals," says Mourinho

AS Roma will play against Sevilla in the UEFA Europa League final.

Sevilla and

AS Roma

will play on Wednesday in the UEFA Europa League final.

Mourinho believes that only big teams have the ability to reach two consecutive European finals.

AS Roma's coach has talked about the UEFA Europa League final with Sky Sports Italia:

“We work hard every day to build the history of Roma, only big clubs with great histories are usually capable of reaching two consecutive European finals,”

“I don’t think much about what I’ve won in my career. The past is the past and history cannot be changed. I always look to the future, perhaps this is the secret of my philosophy.

Roma and Mourinho aim to be the first team to defeat Sevilla in the Europa League final. Sevilla have reached Europa League finals six times and have won all six finals so far.
