Alonso denied rumors of joining Tottenham and said he will stay at Leverkusen
Many clubs are interested in signing Xabi Alonso, who joined
Bayer Leverkusenin the midst of the season and had an outstanding season. However, he claims that he plans to remain with this German team for the upcoming season.
“I’ve been in football for many years,”
He told.
“Rumours are normal, but we still have a lot to achieve.
“That’s why my head is 100 % here for the last few months. And my head is also 100% here for next season.”
One of the teams interested in Alonso were Tottenham.
In the Bundesliga, Leverkusen is currently in sixth position and aims to go to the European competitions.
