Neymar returns to Paris Saint-Germain training
The technical staff of
Paris Saint-Germainannounced new news about its Brazilian star
Neymar Jr., the team's striker.
PSG indicated, in a statement on its official website that Neymar had returned and was present at the team’s training headquarters, for the first time, after undergoing ankle surgery.
The statement added that the medical staff in Paris Saint-Germain and the surgeons who performed the surgery on Neymar, today removed the medical fixation shoe.
The Parisian club confirmed that the initial medical tests for the Brazilian player are reassuring, indicating that he will continue his treatment and rehabilitation program in Paris.
Neymar Jr. 31 underwent ankle surgery in the Qatari capital Doha, and then went to Brazil to continue his treatment program.
Neymar injured his ankle in early February which caused his absence from the stadiums for the end of the current season.
Note that the Brazilian player is bound by a contract that extends until the summer of 2025, with a clause that allows the contract to be automatically renewed for two additional years until the summer of 2027.
