Juventus 0-0 Inter: Late Salvation from Lukaku!

After sealing a Serie A double over Inter last month, Juventus hosted Inter for their Coppa Italia tie's first leg on Tuesday. A late equalizer from Lukaku canceled Juve's victory.

While both teams are fighting for a top-four spot in Serie A, Juventus hosted Inter in the Coppa Italia semi-finals on Tuesday. The first half was largely cautious with a handful of chances for both sides, each goalkeeper made one major save. Inter dominated the possession but couldn't contribute any serious chances as they settled on a goalless draw for the first half.

After a slow 82 minutes, Juventus took the lead against the game's process through Juan Cuadrado. The Colombian striker scored with a low drive from the edge of the six-yard box. Bastoni tried to clear the shot but he failed.

Bremer made an error in the 94th minute as he failed to make a clearance without any pressure and the ball struck his outstretched arm as the referee showed the penalty spot. Romelu Lukaku converted the penalty before receiving his second yellow card for reacting angrily to provocation from the crowd. Cuadrado and Handanovic also were sent-off following their post-match tussle. The game ended as a 1-1 draw with the two sides set to meet each other for the second leg later this month.
