"Go to church" - Mikel Arteta hits back at Arsenal celebration critics

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has defended his players from criticism over their celebrations this season.

Arsenal's players have been criticised by some for their celebrations this season, but Arteta said his players will continue to celebrate and those who criticised them should go to church.  

"If you win in football, you celebrate,"

he said.

"If you want passion and emotion, there is nothing better than scoring goals and winning football matches.

"If not, you go to church. For sure, I won't be telling the players not to celebrate on Sunday."

Arsenal has won their last four games in a row and now will face Fulham on Sunday.

Gabriel Jesus

who suffered a serious knee injury at the World Cup, reportedly is ready to return to action and Arteta did not rule out the possibility of him playing against Fulham.

Arteta said:

"Let's see.

"He really needs to feel confident and ready to go. He has a big say in that."
