Integral to Brighton's playing style, Arsenal saw their £60m bid rejected by the Seagulls as they are holding out for at least £80m. However, Caicedo is reportedly considering forcing his way out of the club.

Earlier today it was revealed that

has made a £60m bid for Brighton midfielder

Moises Caicedo

as the Seagulls rejected the bid from the Gunners. Chelsea has also been linked with the midfielder though they saw their £55m verbal proposal rejected.

Now according to

Daily Mail

, the 21-year-old midfielder is eager to hand in a transfer request to force a move away from

this January. In addition to the two London clubs, Liverpool has also been linked with a move for Caicedo.

Brighton manager

Roberto De Zerbi

revealed his hopes of keeping the midfielder this season earlier, telling a press conference:

“He is only focused on Brighton. I understand he has the chance to go to a very big team but I hope he can stay with us until the end of the season. My opinion is that is the best solution for him and us.”
