Brighton warns Trossard will only leave if the club’s valuation is met

Being among Tottenham's main January transfer targets, the Belgian midfielder will reportedly be only allowed to leave Brighton if the club chairman Tony Bloom's valuation is met.

Leonardo Trossard

’s contract talks with Brighton have seemingly broken down and the 28-year-old Belgian is one of the most sought-after in the EPL, so there wouldn’t be a shortage of suitors if

decides to sell him in January.

The midfielder's agent made it clear last Friday that the 28-year-old midfielder wants a move away from the Seagulls this transfer window as he left the United Kingdom for Belgium when he realized he wouldn't be playing against Liverpool at the weekend. Trossard, who scored a hat-trick in

De Zerbi

’s first game in charge of Brighton against Liverpool, didn’t play any part in their return match at Anfield because of the situation between him and De Zerbi.

However, the club's chairman

Tony Bloom

warns the suitors that Trossard will only be allowed to leave the Premier League club this January if the club's valuation is met. Through the sales of Ben White, Yves Bissouma, and Marc Cucurella, Brighton have shown they are only willing to sell on their own terms.
