The Gunners are fined £40,000 after the handball incident against Newcastle
The FA has charged Arsenal £40,000 after their fiery reaction to a handball in the closing minutes of their draw against Newcastle.

Newcastlewas a controversial one as a last-minute handball by Newcastle in the penalty box was ignored by the referee an VAR which prompted a fiery reaction from Arsenal players afterwards. Now the Football Association has hit Arsenal with a fine for their players’ reaction towards the handball.

Gunnershave been hit with yet another sanction as they did the same against Oxford United in FA Cup’s third round, protesting a handball that was not given a penalty. The two sanctions have come within the same week.
"Arsenal FC has been fined £40,000 for breaching FA Rule E20.1 during its Premier League fixture against Newcastle United FC on Tuesday 3 January 2023,"
read an FA statement.
"Arsenal FC admitted that it failed to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during the 95th minute. An independent Regulatory Commission imposed the club's sanction during a subsequent hearing."
Arsenal will now have to focus on their crucial clash with Tottenham on Sunday with man City chasing at their heels.
