Vinicius: "Real Madrid will be much better in three to four years"

Real Madrid couldn't maintain their unbeaten run this season, as they suffered a 3-2 defeat against RB Leipzig on Tuesday. Although the Los Blancos are still topping their Champions League group, Vinicius Junior tips the club to have a better squad over the next three years.

Real Madrid

's first goal during their first defeat of the season against RB Leipzig,

Vinicius Junior

has enjoyed a great start to the season scoring 8 goals and providing three assists in a total of 16 games for the Los Blancos this season.

However, the Brazilian winger tips the Real Madrid squad to develop further considering the young talents that are emerging in the squad.

He told

“In Madrid. I’m sure I can keep playing here for a long time. As much myself as the rest of the youngsters who are with us now: Camavinga, Rodrygo, Fede, Tchouameni, Militao… we have a very good squad now and it will be much better in three to four years’ time”.

Asked to explain what had changed most since he arrived in Real Madrid, the

international said:

“I think in many aspects, especially because of my age. I arrived when I was 18 years old, I had just started playing in the first team for Brazil and arrived here at the biggest club in the world, where it is difficult to play, and with these fans… but as time has gone by, I have been improving every day and now I am the best version of myself. I hope not to stop here, and to continue to evolve in order to do great things”.
