Lukaku returned to training before crucial CL game

The Belgian star was away from the field since the summer due to injury, but he seems to have found the conditions to play.

Romelu Lukaku returned to Inter training this morning and Simone Inzaghi hopes he will be ready to face Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League.

The Belgian striker has been sidelined since August due to a muscle injury. He passed the medical tests on Tuesday and started training with his teammates today.

It is not yet known if he attended a full training session, but his presence at the Sonning training center indicates the possibility of his presence in the match against Fiorentina. The head coach of the Nerazzurri will decide tomorrow whether or not the Belgian star will be in Florence.

But Inzaghi's main concern is that Lukaku is ready for his team's key match against Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League. If Inter can defeat their rival in this match, they will advance to the knockout round of the Champions League and Barcelona will go to the Europa League for the second year in a row.

Although Inter has achieved good results in the absence of Lukaku this season, the presence of the Belgian star can greatly help the Nerazzurri's offensive line to reach the knockout stage of the Champions League by winning next week's match.
