'Expectional Bellingham' impressed Guardiola after City comeback

The English star was able to score last night and record his fourth goal in the Champions League, the best performance among English teenagers.

Despite the win against

Dortmund

, Pep Guardiola was impressed with

Jude Bellingham

's performance and praised the English star.

Last night,

City

hosted Dortmund at the Etihad Stadium, and the Bundesliga side was able to get ahead of the Citizens at first thanks to Marco Reus' beautiful assist and Bellingham's header. But with 10 minutes to go, John Stones opened the scoring for City with a long-range shot and Erling Holland scored the winning goal against his former side. After the game, Guardiola praised the Dortmund youngster for his performance.

"

I was impressed two seasons ago when he was 17. Now he's 19... he was good at 17, imagine now at 19,"

the Spanish manager said.

"He's able to follow [Ilkay] Gundogan, Kevin [De Bruyne], win the duels, transitions are fast, to have the sense in the box for the goal he scored.

"So yes, an exceptional player. I think everybody knows it, not because the manager of Manchester City says it, everybody knows it."

Edin Terzic also praised the performance of his team's midfielder, who scored 4 goals in the Champions League and has the best performance among English teenagers. He said:

"Jude, like all the other players, gave a great performance in offensive and defensive terms.

"He blocked so any passes and crosses and also got forward… once again, he was very good against Manchester City."
