Milan Skriniar refuses to comment on his future at Inter

Milan Skriniar was evasive when asked about his future ahead of Inter’s Champions League clash against Viktoria Plzen.

When asked about his future before Inter's Champions League game against Viktoria Plzen,

Milan Skriniar

tried to avoid the question.

During the summer, there were a lot of rumors that the 27-year-old Slovakian defender would be moving to

Paris Saint-Germain

. Many of these rumors said that PSG was desperate to sign him. Even though France was interested, Skriniar stayed with

Inter

and is now in the last year of his current contract.

When asked at a press conference about a possible move away from Inter in January, Skriniar didn't want to talk about his future. "I've never said a word, and I'd rather keep it that way. We came here to play this game, and I don't want to discuss my future or my contract because I don't think it's the right time or place.

"When there is news, you will hear it from me and no one else. I have never spoken, and I like it that way. He discussed whether tomorrow's game against the Czech team Viktoria Plzen will be extra special for him because he is from Slovakia, which is right next door.

"It'll be a unique game because Plzen is closer to Slovakia than Italy. Family and friends will be there. Plzen will be unique because a lot of guys I know play there.

The 27-year-old talked about the strengths of tomorrow's opponents and what he expects from the game. "We've seen how far the team has come under this coach. They're solid and ready physically. We must watch out for how fast they work on the counterattack."

He talked about how the team felt after their tense 1-0 win over Torino last weekend. "After the derby and Bayern, it wasn't easy, but we were able to talk in the locker room. That helped us win the last game for sure." Last, Skriniar talked about how he felt about Inter being in the same group as

Viktoria Plzen

. "I was happy because Slovakia is closer to me here. We know it's going to be hard."
