Kevin de Bruyne swaps shirts with Formula One star Max Verstappen
Kevin De Bruyne attended the Belgium Grand Prix and was jokingly told he can drive for Red Bull - but only if he plays for Coventry City first!
Max Verstappen is currently in first place in the Formula One world championships. Before the race in his home country, the playmaker for Manchester City was a guest of the team.
Martin Brundle from Sky Sports told De Bruyne, "Christian will let you try one of these cars." Horner then said, "Only if he plays for Coventry City!" Before the Belgium Grand Prix, De Bruyne and Verstappen met and swapped shirts. The Formula One world champion shared the moment with his Instagram followers.
After City's 4-2 win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League, De Bruyne won't have much time to rest. The team will play the next day again. On August 31, they will be at home against
Nottingham Forest. On September 3, they will go to Aston Villa.
