Pedro Neto reveals "Champions League dream" despite Arsenal rumors

Having been linked heavily with a summer move to Arsenal, the Wolves winger is also in the radar of Liverpool and Manchester United. Despite the Gunners’ bright start to the season, the Wolves midfielder revealed his dream of playing in the Champions League.

The 22-year-old Wolves winger told

The Times

, being quizzed on the speculations about his future

: “I always like to hear this sort of stuff but I’m focused on my job here because I’m feeling very good here. The things you hear makes you work even more, it’s good for you and your mentality to know that people know your value. It gives me more hunger to work harder.”

Starting his career at Braga,

Pedro Neto

came to prominence after his transfer to

Wolverhampton Wanderers

in 2019. He added:

“The dream of any player is to play in the Champions League. I want to help this club to go higher and higher because I think we have that potential with the way we work, the way we sign players, the way we try to arrive there.”

Arsenal

prepares to part with

Nicolas Pepe

and bring in an upgrade for the Ivorian as

Mikel Arteta

is in the market for attacking reinforcements. With the summer transfer deadline looming on, the Gunners must hurry to make a move as any bid to prise Pedro Neto away from the

Molineux Stadium

would not come cheap, especially with the

Portuguese

penning a contract extension with the Wolves back in May that keeps him with the club until 2027.
