Giovanni Simeone joins Napoli on loan

The president of the Napoli confirmed the transfer of the Argentinian striker.

Simeone, who spent a season on loan at Hellas Verona, joined the club permanently in the summer. However, a few weeks after his move to his new club, he went on loan to Napoli and will have a permanent buyout clause in his loan deal.

3.5 million euros for the loan transfer, and if they want to make the transfer permanent, they will have to pay another 12 million euros.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed the transfer and his introduction ceremony is expected to take place soon.

Simeone, 27, joined Genoa in 2016 and experienced Serie A for the first time. He has also played for Fiorentina, Cagliari and Hellas Verona. He also played 5 games for Argentina and scored 1 goal.
