Manchester United yet to agree personal terms with Adrien Rabiot

Manchester United has not reached an agreement with Adrien Rabiot but negotiations will continue between both parties.

According to the Italian press,

Manchester United

so far has not reached an agreement with

Adrien Rabiot

over the personal terms but new talks will be held next week.

Manchester United’s Director of Football John Murtough was in Turin on Friday to meet with Rabiot’s mother and agent Veronique to discuss personal terms. Reports claim that United is willing to offer the midfielder a salary of around €7 but he wants to earn €8-10m per year.

Reports in England also suggest that negotiations between both parties are progressing and United is hopeful they reach an agreement with Rabiot next week. Manchester United already has agreed with

Juventus

to pay €15m for the signing of Rabiot.

Frenkie De Jong was United's top choice for midfield this summer but they are losing hope to sign him and therefore have decided to move for other targets.

The 27-year-old Rabiot joined Juventus in 2019 as a free agent. He has scored 6 goals in 129 matches but has failed to impress during his time in Serie A.
