PSG meet with Inter over Skriniar amid Chelsea interest

Paris Saint-Germain is scheduled for more talks with Inter over Milan Skriniar transfer amid increased interest from Chelsea.

According to Sportitalia,

Paris Saint-Germain

directors will meet with

Inter

on Wednesday to resume negotiations over the transfer of

Milan Skriniar

.

Inter wants at least €70-80m minimum and they already have rejected a €60m including bonuses bid from PSG and negotiating stopped but the French club is worried that Chelsea will enter the race to sign Skriniar and wants to close the deal.

Chelsea was close to signing Jules Kounde but it seems he is set to join Barcelona and there is a possibility the Blues will enter the race to sign Skriniar.

Skriniar's contract with Inter will expire in June 2023 but he has already agreed to an extension. The salary Inter has offered him is lower than PSG’s offer and if Skriniar stays at San Siro, his agent wants to renegotiate the terms of that new contract.

If Inter eventually sells Skriniar, they want to sign Nikola Milenkovic from Fiorentina as his replacement. The center-back will cost around €18m.

Skriniar joined Inter Milan from Sampdoria on 2017. He has made a total of 172 Inter appearances over the past five seasons.
