Troy Parrott extends his Tottenham contract and joins Preston on loan
Troy Parrott, a young forward for Spurs, has flown to Preston North End after extending his contract with Spurs.
, a young player for
Tottenham, has extended his deal with
Antonio Conte
's team until 2025. He will then spend a season on loan with Preston North End.
Last season, Parrott, a 20-year-old forward, helped
League One
team MK Dons finish in third place while he was on loan. He scored nine goals and will now play in the Championship with Preston.
Parrott has already played 15 games for the Republic of Ireland at the senior level. In June, he scored one of his four goals for Ireland against Scotland.
After coming up through the ranks at Tottenham, Parrott has only made four senior appearances for the club, two of which were in the Premier League. He is struggling to break into a star-studded frontline that has been improved by the arrivals of Ivan Perisic and Richarlison this transfer window.
