Bayern Munich not interested in Ronaldo as Lewandowski replacement

Bayern Munich are getting ready to say goodbye to the Poland international, but they do not want to bring in another forward from the Red Devils.

as he reached an agreement with

Barcelona

. However, they do not intend to buy

Cristiano Ronaldo

. The Portugal international has been mooted to make a move away from the club to the Allianz Arena.

The

Manchester United

player is keen on leaving the Red Devils as he is interested in playing Champions League football in 2022-23. However, the Bundesliga champions have made it clear that they are not interested in the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Hasan Salihamidzic, the Bayern sporting director, has talked about the rumors with Sport1:

“I have a lot of respect for Cristiano Ronaldo, his successes and his career.

“But again, that wasn’t and isn’t an issue for us.”

Lewandowski is on his way out after spending eight years at the Bundesliga side, contributing to many trophies over the years.

He has met the back of the net 344 times in 375 matches.
