The Blues are eager to sign Matthijs de Ligt and as per reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea have made a bigger offer to the Bianconeri.

Based on the reports,

Chelsea

made a €80m offer to pen a contract with

Matthijs de Ligt

whose release clause is €120m, which is included in his deal.

The Blues’ €40m offer was rejected by

Juventus

last week. Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic might be included in the contract, but Juve rejected Chelsea’s first bid.

As per reports from Gazzetta, the Bianconeri have now received a new contract, while reports from Il Corriere della Sera claims that Chelsea will make a €70m offer very soon.

The reports claim that the Old Lady demand at least €80m, whereas Gazzetta says Juve are asking for €90m.

The Netherlands international is keen on departing Juventus in the summer, says the club’s CEO Maurizio Arrivabene.

The ex-Ajax captain made a move to the

Serie A

side on a deal worth €85.5m in 2019.
