Martinez’s Agent Admits Lukaku’s Return Keeps Lautaro Happy at Inter

summer signings, especially the return of Lukaku, have convinced the 24-year-old striker to stay put at his club as his agent, Alejandro Camano, clears the situation in an interview with

pleading his client will not leave the Nerazzurri.

"There's a link between them, that's evident. Wearing this shirt isn't for everyone,"

Camano said

. "It's a great thing.

"Lautaro is happy in Milan, he feels like he's at the centre of things, he's loved.

"Why would we want to leave? To where? We're already at the top."

Martinez

only signed a new deal in October 2021, and it doesn't expire until June 2026. The striker was part of Argentina's Copa America-winning squad at the international level and had 19 goals in 37 senior appearances.

Inter will kickstart their Serie A season against Lecce on August 14, the club has already sold Ivan Perisic to Tottenham Hotspur's former coach Antonio Conte, and Alessandro Bastoni might follow the Croatian to north London.
