Chelsea reach agreement with Leeds over Raphinha

Chelsea is set to beat Arsenal and Barcelona to the signing of Leeds United star Raphinha.

According to the English press,

Chelsea

and Leeds have reached a full agreement over the transfer of

Raphinha

for around 60 million pounds. Chelsea currently is negotiating with Raphinha over personal terms.

Fabrizio Romano also says that

Arsenal

and Barcelona have called Leeds in recent hours but they can not match Chelsea's bid. Romano says Chelsea is negotiating with Raphinha and his agent Deco and hopes to sign him in the coming days.

Barcelona reached an agreement over personal terms with the 25-year-old Raphinha months ago. They wanted to sign him for 35 million euros if Leeds were relegated from the Premier League but after Leeds stayed in the league, their chances of signing him diminished because of their financial situation.

In 2015, Raphinha left Brazil for Portugal and signed with Vitoria Guimaraes. Three years later, he joined Sporting Club de Portugal in Lisbon, and after one season there, he moved to Rennes. He spent one season in France and then moved to Leeds. Since then, he has become a full Brazilian international and has scored 17 goals in 67 matches for them.

Telegraph also reports that Chelsea other than Raphinha still wants to sign Raheem Sterling from Manchester City.
