The Belgian coach will be on a mission to bring Burnley back to the Premier League.
boss Vincent Kompany has claimed that there is always the possibility of valuable players leaving after being relegated from the Premier League.
The former
Man Citycaptain took over at Burnley after three years at Anderlecht. Burnley relegated to the Championship last season after six years in the Premier League, and Sean Dyche left the bench after ten years with the club. Michael Jackson coached Burnley until the end of the season and Kompany was eventually selected as the new manager. Now the 36-year-old has claimed that they are in danger of losing their stars.
"You always have to expect that some of the more valuable players will move on [after relegation],"
Kompany said.
"We wish them well and are looking forward to bringing in some exciting players.
"It goes with the drop in revenue when you drop out of the Premier League and you have to expect that.
"It is a few players who have perhaps earned the right to move on."
