Marc Roca joins Leeds United from Bayern Munich

Leeds United has signed Bayern Munich midfielder Marc Roca on a four-year deal.

announced on Friday that

Marc Roca

has signed a four-year deal for an initial £10m. Roca is Leeds third summer signing following Rasmus Kristensen and Brenden Aaronson.

The 25-year-old Roca joined

Bayern Munich

in 2020 from Espanyol but he only played in 24 games for the German champions. Roca with Bayern won the Bundesliga twice and the FIFA Club World Cup. He also won the UEFA European

Under-21 Championship in 2019 with Spain.

“It’s a new experience and a new challenge for me,”

Roca told Leeds official website.

“Leeds United gave me the chance and the opportunity. I will give everything and give my best.

“My first steps were in Spain, then I played in Germany, and now it is time to join Leeds and play here in the Premier League. 

“Everyone told me the Premier League is the best league in the world and the history of Leeds United is amazing, I hope we can do good things here."

Leeds who stayed in the Premier League on the final day of last season will start the new season at Elland Road against Wolves on Saturday, August 6.
