As Roberto Mancini looks to the future, Italy has elected to deploy young players like Davide Frattesi, Federico Gatti, and Gianluca Scamacca.

Robert Mancini

is excited about the future after giving a number of young players chances to play with

Italy

in the

Nations League

. Italy lost to North Macedonia in the World Cup play-offs and didn't make it to Qatar 2022, just like they didn't make it to Russia 2014.

That was the end of a rough time for Italian football after they won Euro 2020. Many people questioned why Serie A coaches gave younger Italian players a chance to get better. After the 'Finalissima' lost to Argentina at Wembley Stadium at the beginning of June's international schedule, Mancini said that young players would get more chances to play for Italy.

Davide Frattesi

,

Federico Gatti

, and Gianluca Scamacca were among the up-and-coming players who played for Italy in the Nations League. Italy tied two games and won one with the help of these players.

The Azzurri are now at the top of League A Group 3, which includes Germany,

England

, and Hungary, before their game on Tuesday against Hansi Flick's team. Coach Mancini said he is learning a lot as he looks to the future. He said, "I saw some guys who could do well in life."

"The national team is at a very high level. I think that the boys should be able to play. "Radice, 1981, was the first time they made me play on the first team. It wasn't Serie A; it was a tournament for the New Year.

"When they gave me the first ball, I lifted my foot, and it went by without me touching it. For a young person, it's not easy. You have to trust them and let them play, even if they don't do their best.

"It can be a big deal and help you get to know them better. Seeing those guys for three days helped us figure out who might be more prepared. Mancini has started to use younger players, but he still doesn't know how Toronto FC's Lorenzo Insigne will do in MLS.

"It depends on how he acts and what happens there. He has helped us and is a great player, but it all depends on what happens in MLS," he said.
