Cisse told reporters that he thinks the Bundesliga team would be a great fit for Mane. "I tell my boys to try to work out the contract issues so that when their respective championships start up again, they will already have a base," he said.

"I knew Sadio was at Bayern. I think it's a club that lives up to its name. Bayern plays hard, pressing football, and their coach is from Germany. Sadio played in

, Austria, which is a border country. This means he is not going to a place he has never been. I think Bayern will make him feel the most at home." GOAL said that Mane would tell the club he wanted to leave after Liverpool lost to Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Mane recently added to the rumors about his future when he said he would let Senegalese fans who want him to move in the summer. But then he took back what he had said and said he was just kidding.

"I made a joke when I spoke yesterday, and it was all over the place. "I think that's a good place to stop," he said. "I really like Liverpool as a team. The fans took me in from the start. We'll see what happens next."
