France will lock horns with Croatia on Monday in a crucial game but they will go into the Nations League showdown without N’Golo Kante and Lucas Hernandez.

N’Golo Kante

and

Lucas Hernandez

are not part of the

France

squad before their Nations League game against

Croatia

on Monday.

France get ready for next week’s game as they sit on the bottom of Group A1 after their 2-1 defeat at the hands of Denmark at home and draws with Croatia and Austria.

The Nations League champions are four points adrift of Denmark and two points behind Austria and Croatia. There are three games left and one team is going to advance.

Les Blues, however, will not have the services of Kante and Hernandez for the battle against Croatia.

Kante is out of action due to his knee injury, whereas Hernandez is with his partner, who is going to give birth.

Neither of the two were in action on Friday when they drew the game 1-1 against Austria as Kylian Mbappe leveled Andreas Weimann’s opener in Vienna to save his side a point.
